He is an advisor in the field of Export Control in Kim&Chang. His research interests are Domestic and International Export Controls, International Politics, Semiconductors, and Changes to the U.S. export control system and Impacts. He studied semiconductors at KAIST and Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, classified whether it was a strategic item or not at KOSTI, participated in various international export control regimes on behalf of Republic of Korea, and completed a doctorate in political science at Hanyang University.

He is also an Advisory Professor of the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, Hanyang University (2019-Present), an Advisory Committee Member of South-North Korea Exchanges and Cooperation Support Association (2021-Present), and a Member of Technical Committee for Review of Export Control Regime, Korean Security Agency of Trade and Industry (2021-Present).
